For non-recycled waste

Problematic or contaminated waste and residues that are not easily recyclable: can generally be pyrolyzed, allowing the recovery of materials (metals, glass fibres, carbon fibres) and possibly the generation of thermal or electrical energy. Given the diversity of the waste and its specific characteristics, PyroCore assists you in identifying and qualifying the potential resources to be recovered.

Mixed plastics

Mono-polymers like PET have clearly defined recycling opportunities, however, most do not due to composite materials being used or not able to be sorted or separated mechanically. Many polymers are destroyed or landfilled even though they contain highly recoverable metals or fibres. At the same time, 40%* of plastic waste is considered non-recyclable. PyroCore offers you an exclusive and economically viable method of waste management, notably thanks to the production of energy from the processing of this waste.

The challenges

Reducing the use of plastics is now one of the major actions in the fight against waste and pollution. However, we need to manage the stock of the non-recycled part as well as possible by ensuring the best efficiency and the most circularity possible.

Our solution

With PyroCore, you transform all your residues, complex or contaminated plastics in a controlled and environmentally compliant way. The on-site pyrolysis technique allows you to reduce both your carbon footprint and your processing costs. In addition, over time, you will become self-sufficient in energy, benefiting from a new, environmentally friendly source of energy.

Non-organic medical waste

Transportation and treatment of waste from hospitals and clinical facilities is expensive due to their hazardous nature and their variability means that disposal costs are high.

The challenges

Collection and disposal of hazardous waste, full traceability: as a producer of hazardous waste, they are highly regulated. PyroCore provides you with solutions through a process of waste recovery into decarbonated energy by pyrolysis, on site or nearby. All this at a competitive cost, representing an opportunity to reduce costs.

Our solution
  • Treatment of a wide range of clinical and medical waste.
  • The production of low-carbon energy: heat, cold, steam, electricity…

Biomass

In its latest report, the IPCC states that pyrolysis of biomass to produce biochar is a key solution for carbon emission reduction and capture. Nutrient-rich biochar captures and stores carbon and can be used for horticulture, smelting of reducing agents, construction materials, animal feed, urban tree planting, forestry, agriculture, etc…

  • Food waste
The challenges

Valorising biomass waste from agriculture and the food industry is one of your priorities. PyroCore helps you to set up an optimal processing system, a commercial alternative to landfill and incineration: you produce new energy and reduce your carbon emissions, while controlling your costs. A key asset for your CSR and for your environmental compliance in general.

Our solution
  • Energy recovery
  • Circular biochar recovery
  • Introduction of the solid residue into the production circuit for healthier crops and naturally enriched soil.

Notre site de démonstration

The PyroCore demonstration centre

The PyroCore demonstration centre includes a laboratory for analysing economic models and assessing the environmental benefits of processing your feedstock. All types of useful and exploitable data relating to your waste are collected there: yields, energy, thermal and mass balance, emissions, and recovery of by-products.
