Happy Birthday to us! PyroCore celebrates first birthday

The PyroCore family has expanded

Our family has grown from a modest core team to a larger extended team, with plenty of new faces and personalities across each department. Our family of engineers has grown, the sales and marketing team has expanded and we have gained a personal assistant to the board of directors.

Our Research and Development site (R&D) is complete

Our brand new Research and Development and demonstration site at St Cuthberts Mill, Somerset is almost completed. With our waste management solutions unit taking centre stage, plus marketing suite complete with outdoor decking and plenty of greenery, the site is something that the whole team are very proud of.

We had our first ever team social

The PyroCore troupe enjoyed a Pizza Night, at the White Hart in Weston in Gordano. It was great to kick back, relax and celebrate all the achievements that the company had made over the last 12 months, and to toast to the future and what exciting opportunities it will bring.

The team enjoyed a delicious selection of drinks and nibbles, as well as the main event; hand-stretched and baked Napolitan pizzas, in the pizzeria to the rear of the pub.

We are partnering with some fantastic organisations

We are pleased to be working alongside some really exciting organisations in our quest to put our vision for a greener, more environmentally conscious future to the forefront of everyone’s priority list. We are a proud partner of the Canadian governments Ocean Plastics Charter to ensure plastics are designed for reuse and recycling. We are also proud to back CLIA’s mission to ensure the places they visit and the oceans they sail are well looked after by reducing carbon emissions and recycling their onboard waste.

We are working alongside some really great causes

We are pleased to be a corporate supporter of the Freshwater Habitats Trust whose aim is to protect freshwater life for everyone to enjoy. The aim for us as a company is not only to change society’s approach to discarded waste, but to spread our message about the planet too. Finally we have just completed our first corporate day, sponsoring the Breathe For Life relay cycle ride, which aims to raise awareness of rare lung cancer, caused by air pollution. The money raised will go to The Ruth Strauss Foundation, Alk Positive UK and Friends of The Earth.

We are a social bunch at PyroCore, so check out our social media here, and follow us for news and updates.
